This is a single-level residence<\/strong> with a surface area of 270 m2<\/sup><\/strong>, located on the 4th floor of a residential building. The apartment was in its original condition and the family owners (a couple and their daughter, a 16-year-old young woman) contacted the studio to carry out a comprehensive renovation of their newly acquired home<\/strong>, so that it would adapt to their needs and preferences. <\/p>\n\n

Adjacent to the entrance hall is a room that already featured a floor-to-ceiling bookcase, which we decided to preserve.<\/strong> We added an oak wood desk<\/strong> from which the living-dining room is widely visible through a double translucent glass sliding door that provides privacy and also allows direct access from the entrance hall.<\/p>\n\n

While the family wanted visually connected spaces<\/strong>, they wished for the kitchen to be closable, so we designed a glass partition with sliding doors<\/strong>, which, in addition to acting as a decorative element, also functions as a dividing element between the kitchen and the living-dining room.<\/p>\n\n

The dining room<\/strong> features an oak wood table and beautiful pendant lamps designed by the studio<\/strong>. We also placed an open unit as a shelf behind the sofa<\/strong>, which delineates these two spaces. <\/p>\n\n

In the new layout of the house, we had to accommodate an exposed column<\/strong>, so we decided to give it prominence by cladding it with mosaic-effect stone and rounding its edges<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n

For the color palette of these rooms, we opted for neutral tones<\/strong> combined with subtle shades of ochre and washed blue<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n

Once we enter the private area<\/strong>, the wardrobes continue along the hallway<\/strong> on the right, while on the left we find the powder room<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n

The powder room design is very natural as we decided to clad it with clay paint<\/strong> and combined it with a custom oak wood unit,<\/strong> with an integrated sink<\/strong> in natural stone and wall-mounted faucets in black.<\/p>\n\n

We also designed two arch-shaped niches.<\/strong> One of them includes the mirror<\/strong>, while the other houses oak wood shelves with LED lighting that bathes the wall.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n

The bedroom<\/strong> of the couple’s young daughter<\/strong> includes a rest area<\/strong>, study area, vanity, and floor-to-ceiling wardrobes<\/strong>. We flanked the upholstered headboard with floor-to-ceiling mirrors<\/strong>, framed with oak moldings<\/strong> and a subtle wallpaper<\/strong>, with brass sconces<\/strong>. <\/p>\n\n

We designed the desk<\/strong> custom-made<\/strong> and it extends to a bench<\/strong> that we completed with a soft cushion and pillows<\/strong>, which also features additional storage space<\/strong>. For the color palette, we opted for neutral<\/strong> tones with touches of grayish green<\/strong>. <\/p>\n\n

In the master bedroom, the wardrobes and headboard wall<\/strong> follow a cohesive design with moldings and linen-effect wallpaper<\/strong>. We placed original nightstands and pendant lamps<\/strong>. <\/p>\n\n

Next to the large window, we placed a reading or conversation area<\/strong> with two armchairs<\/strong> accompanied by a side table<\/strong> with a brass frame and glass top.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n

The tones chosen for this bedroom range from neutrals to muted greens<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n

When designing a master bathroom<\/strong>, we placed great importance on its ability to convey sensations of well-being and mental peace. To achieve this, we clad the walls with stone-effect ceramic<\/strong>, designed a generous wooden unit with drawers<\/strong>, and selected original natural stone sinks and black faucets<\/strong>. <\/p>\n\n

The entire residence features wood-effect flooring laid in a herringbone pattern<\/strong>, a vinyl<\/strong> ideal for humid areas, such as the kitchen and bathrooms, which provides continuity throughout the space.<\/p>\n\n

As always, we designed carefully planned lighting<\/strong> to create warm atmospheres, a sense of well-being, and a home where one wants to be.<\/p>\n\n

We designed the entrance hall<\/strong> of the house with wardrobes<\/strong> that provide sufficient storage space for personal items, coats, and jackets. Additionally, we placed a console and mirror<\/strong>. The central area is occupied by a round rug<\/strong> of natural fibers<\/strong>. <\/p>\n\n

Both from the entrance hall and from the office, one accesses the day area<\/strong>, composed of the living room<\/strong>, the dining room, and the kitchen<\/strong>, which share a single open space<\/strong>. These environments form the social core of the home, where the family gathers, fosters collaboration, and facilitates communication in daily life. <\/p>\n\n

For the kitchen furniture<\/strong>, we opted for white and oak<\/strong>, with brass faucets<\/strong>. We placed the cooking area at the back, next to the sink, and added an island with upholstered stools and pendant lamps<\/strong>, as well as a breakfast bar<\/strong>. <\/p>\n\n

For the living room, we opted to make use of the family’s existing sofas<\/strong> and combined them with elegant twin microcement coffee tables.<\/strong> We designed a custom TV unit<\/strong> with integrated LED lighting. This unit extends along the hallway, transforming into wardrobes with moldings in the form of paneling<\/strong> that provide extra storage. <\/p>\n\n

To separate the social area from the private area, we placed a sliding door<\/strong> that integrates with the wardrobe fronts in the form of paneling<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n

Next to the powder room<\/strong>, we find a small room dedicated to laundry<\/strong>. In it, we placed in a row the boiler, broom closet, washer and dryer, and a sink at the back. We clad the walls halfway up with an original wallpaper<\/strong> with botanical motifs in white and grayish tones. <\/p>\n\n

For the young woman’s bathroom<\/strong>, we opted for off-white tones to provide brightness<\/strong>. It features a custom lacquered unit<\/strong>, a mirror<\/strong> with LED, and wall-mounted faucets<\/strong> in brass. <\/p>\n\n

The bedroom<\/strong> features an independent walk-in closet<\/strong>. We designed it with a rectangular layout<\/strong>, placing L-shaped wardrobes that we arranged according to the couple’s preferences. We completed it with a rug<\/strong> and a generous full-length mirror<\/strong>, as well as carefully planned lighting.<\/strong> <\/p>\n\n
