In this 60 m\u00b2 new-build apartment<\/strong>, one of the project’s greatest challenges was redesigning the kitchen layout<\/strong>, which in its original state met neither the functional needs<\/strong> nor the lifestyle of its owner<\/strong>: a woman with a passion for cooking and baking<\/strong> who sought a bright, serene, and welcoming home<\/strong>. The goal was to create a functional, comfortable space with a subtle yet characterful aesthetic<\/strong>, designed for relaxation and enjoying leisure time<\/strong>. <\/p>\n\n

The kitchen<\/strong>, initially dark and impractical<\/strong>, presented several drawbacks, including the swinging access door<\/strong>, which interfered with circulation and space utilization<\/strong>. The solution involved partially opening the kitchen to the living-dining area through a custom-designed glass partition<\/strong> with oak wood moldings<\/strong>. This intervention allowed for increased natural light<\/strong> and established a visual connection with the living-dining room and the terrace<\/strong>, while maintaining acoustic independence and odor control<\/strong>. <\/p>\n\n

Additionally, we replaced the swinging door with a sliding door<\/strong>, which allowed us to optimize space and improve functionality<\/strong>. The result was a brighter, more open, and comfortable kitchen<\/strong> with smoother circulation<\/strong>. <\/p>\n\n

In the living-dining room<\/strong>, the main intervention was the design of a bespoke bookshelf framed by decorative arches<\/strong>, finished with wallpaper<\/strong>, which acts as the focal point of the space<\/strong>. The design of the arches<\/strong> dialogues with the lines of the kitchen’s glass partition<\/strong>, creating visual continuity and coherence in the interior design<\/strong>. <\/p>\n\n

This custom bookshelf<\/strong> not only organizes the space but also adds character and uniqueness<\/strong>, contrasting with the overall serenity of the project<\/strong>. The living room’s color palette<\/strong> combines washed greens and soft mustards in the textiles<\/strong>, creating an elegant and balanced contrast<\/strong> that adds personality without overwhelming the atmosphere. <\/p>\n\n

The owner also wished for a small outdoor corner on the terrace<\/strong> where she could enjoy a quiet breakfast on weekends<\/strong>. Given the limited space, we designed a simple composition with plants, a round table, and a bistro-style chair<\/strong>, creating an intimate and pleasant ambiance<\/strong>. <\/p>\n\n

The master bedroom<\/strong> combines dusty pink and ochre tones<\/strong> through delicately patterned wallpaper<\/strong> and coordinated textiles<\/strong>, creating a warm and relaxing environment<\/strong>. The neutral-toned upholstered headboard<\/strong> is accompanied by oak wood bedside tables with ample storage capacity<\/strong>. Above them, we placed table lamps with textile shades<\/strong>, which add warmth and atmosphere<\/strong> to the room. <\/p>\n\n

The bathroom<\/strong>, though functional in its original state, lacked sufficient storage space<\/strong>. We designed a new custom vanity unit in oak wood<\/strong>, complemented by a matching side cabinet<\/strong>. We also replaced the washbasin and faucets<\/strong> and redesigned the bathroom lighting<\/strong>, improving both the functionality and the aesthetics of the space<\/strong>. <\/p>\n\n

The second bedroom<\/strong> was conceived as a multifunctional room<\/strong>, equipped with a sofa bed for guests<\/strong> and a desk for reading or occasional work<\/strong>. A flexible and adaptable space<\/strong>, designed to meet the changing needs of daily life<\/strong>. <\/p>\n\n

The project was developed with a palette of soft colors\u2014grayish greens, dusty pinks, and ochres\u2014<\/strong>combined with natural materials such as oak wood, linen, and cotton<\/strong>, reinforcing the sense of calm and balance throughout the home<\/strong>. Each room was designed with its own identity<\/strong>, while always maintaining the aesthetic coherence of the whole<\/strong>. <\/p>\n\n

The result is a bright, cozy, and deeply personal home<\/strong>, where every space reflects the tastes, habits, and lifestyle of its owner<\/strong>.
