This is a newly built single-story detached house<\/strong> featuring a terrace, swimming pool, and garden<\/strong>. The owners, a young couple and their 5-year-old daughter<\/strong>, contacted us to carry out a furnishing, lighting, and decoration project<\/strong> tailored to their tastes and preferences<\/strong>, based on a modern and minimalist style<\/strong> that remains warm and inviting<\/strong>. <\/p>\n\n

On the terrace<\/strong>, we placed a sofa and lounge area<\/strong> and, next to the pool<\/strong>, a sun deck with loungers<\/strong>. We used the same natural stone flooring throughout the entire home<\/strong>, both outdoors and indoors<\/strong>, to create a sense of continuity<\/strong>. <\/p>\n\n

For the living room<\/strong>, we opted for a corner sofa<\/strong>, complemented by a comfortable armchair<\/strong>, two metal nesting tables<\/strong>, and an iconic floor lamp<\/strong>. In the dining room<\/strong>, we designed floor-to-ceiling slatted oak wood paneling<\/strong> that conceals a storage cupboard<\/strong>. To illuminate the dining table<\/strong>, we chose original pendant lamps of different sizes<\/strong> that appear to float like bubbles<\/strong>, creating a striking composition<\/strong>. <\/p>\n\n

The guest bathroom<\/strong> features natural stone wall cladding<\/strong>, matching the flooring<\/strong>. We designed a bespoke oak wood vanity<\/strong> with a vessel sink<\/strong> and incorporated two beautiful pendant lamps<\/strong>. <\/p>\n\n

For the daughter’s en-suite bathroom<\/strong>, we chose natural stone cladding<\/strong> combined with small-format pink hexagonal ceramic tiles<\/strong>. We also selected a bathroom vanity with ample storage in a soft pink tone<\/strong>. <\/p>\n\n

The master bedroom<\/strong> provides access to a walk-in closet<\/strong> and, through it, to the primary bathroom<\/strong>, which features a freestanding bathtub<\/strong>, two showers<\/strong>, and a bespoke oak wood vanity<\/strong>. The large windows<\/strong> make this bathroom a very bright and special space<\/strong>, offering relaxing views of the garden greenery<\/strong>. <\/p>\n\n

The daytime and social area<\/strong>\u2014comprising the terrace, living room, dining room, and kitchen<\/strong>\u2014is located at the front of the property<\/strong>, while the nighttime and private area<\/strong> is situated at the back of the house<\/strong>, consisting of three bedrooms (master, children’s, and guest)<\/strong>. The master bedroom<\/strong> features an en-suite bathroom<\/strong> accessed through the walk-in closet<\/strong>. The little girl’s bedroom<\/strong> also has its own bathroom<\/strong>. <\/p>\n\n

The home also includes a laundry room<\/strong>, accessed via a hidden door from the kitchen<\/strong>, an office<\/strong>, and a guest bathroom<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n

The house is organized around a beautiful sunken courtyard with greenery<\/strong> that provides natural light<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n

We opted for an open-concept<\/strong> layout for the living room, dining room, and kitchen<\/strong>. The kitchen<\/strong> overlooks the pool<\/strong> and features an island housing the cooking and sink area<\/strong>. One of the corners of the island<\/strong> extends into a breakfast bar for quick meals<\/strong>. The kitchen also features a breakfast nook and a wine cellar<\/strong>. <\/p>\n\n

The youngest member of the household<\/strong> wanted a bedroom with “lots of pink” and full of unicorns<\/strong>, where she could play and have fun with friends<\/strong>, but also rest, read, and study<\/strong>. To achieve this, we incorporated a house-shaped bed<\/strong> and covered the wall with a playful yet subtle unicorn wallpaper<\/strong>. Toys and books<\/strong> are organized on a custom-designed bookshelf<\/strong> that flanks the desk<\/strong>. <\/p>\n\n

For the textiles<\/strong>, we chose neutral tones combined with touches of pink<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n

For the master bedroom<\/strong>, we designed the headboard with bedside tables and the bed frame<\/strong> as a single integrated oak wood module<\/strong>. For bedside lighting<\/strong>, we chose asymmetrical pendant lamps on each side<\/strong>. For the color palette<\/strong>, we opted for neutral tones with touches of blue<\/strong>. <\/p>\n\n
