This is an 80 m\u00b2 home located in a residential building in Valencia<\/strong>. The apartment was in its original condition<\/strong>, and the owning family\u2014a couple with two children aged 7 and 9<\/strong>\u2014contacted the interior design studio<\/strong> to carry out a full home renovation<\/strong>, with the aim of adapting the space to their lifestyle<\/strong>. In addition, they entrusted us with the complete furnishing and decoration<\/strong>, seeking a warm, bright, truly homely house<\/strong>. <\/p>\n\n

The project was conceived with an timeless interior design style<\/strong>, combining wood flooring<\/strong>, off-white walls<\/strong>, bespoke furniture<\/strong>, and decorative elements that add warmth and brightness<\/strong>. We carefully analysed the natural and artificial lighting<\/strong> to ensure a balanced, comfortable atmosphere throughout the day<\/strong>. <\/p>\n\n

The home is arranged with an open-plan layout that integrates the entryway, living room, dining area, and kitchen<\/strong>, allowing us to optimise space and encourage family togetherness<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n

Upon entering the home, we designed a bespoke entryway<\/strong> that provides a practical place to leave keys and personal items<\/strong>, complemented by a mirror framed with wood profiles<\/strong>. This area connects visually with the TV unit<\/strong> and is defined by wood slats<\/strong>, which add lightness and visual continuity<\/strong>. <\/p>\n\n

One of the main requirements, as the owners are keen cooks<\/strong>, was to design a kitchen fully open to the living-dining area<\/strong>, with a large central island<\/strong> that would allow them to cook and share family moments<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n

We chose stone and natural wood tones<\/strong>, combined with brass taps<\/strong>, achieving a bright aesthetic without relying on white<\/strong>. The kitchen island<\/strong> includes space for stools<\/strong> and is lit by pendant lights<\/strong>, creating a practical, welcoming, elegant space<\/strong>. Next to the kitchen is the laundry room<\/strong>, accessed through a concealed door<\/strong>. <\/p>\n\n

In the living room<\/strong>, we placed two sofas in an L-shaped arrangement<\/strong>, accompanied by a side table with a table lamp<\/strong> and an oak and rattan coffee table<\/strong>. The bespoke TV unit<\/strong> offers generous storage capacity<\/strong>. The textiles in soft blues and mustard tones<\/strong> create an balanced contrast that adds character and warmth<\/strong>. <\/p>\n\n

The dining area<\/strong> is centred around an oak table<\/strong>, paired with oak and rattan chairs<\/strong> and a statement pendant light<\/strong>, creating an ideal space for family meals<\/strong>. The walls were finished with textile-effect wallpaper<\/strong>, adding texture and depth to the room<\/strong>. <\/p>\n\n

To maximise storage<\/strong>, we designed wardrobes along the hallway<\/strong>. The transition between the day area and the night area<\/strong> is resolved with a sliding door with metal profiles lacquered in a grey-green tone<\/strong>, continuing the aesthetic language of the wardrobe fronts<\/strong>. <\/p>\n\n

The main bedroom<\/strong> features a bed with an ottoman storage base<\/strong>, floor-to-ceiling wardrobes<\/strong>, and an optimised layout that makes use of every centimetre of space<\/strong>. The upholstered headboard in a neutral tone<\/strong> is paired with oak bedside tables<\/strong> and brass wall lights<\/strong>. The colour palette<\/strong> combines blues and neutral tones<\/strong>, through linen-effect wallpaper and coordinated textiles<\/strong>, creating a serene, welcoming atmosphere<\/strong>. <\/p>\n\n

Before reaching the children\u2019s bedrooms<\/strong>, we designed a small play area<\/strong>, furnished with two armchairs and a TV unit with storage space<\/strong>, creating a corner designed for family leisure<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n

In the children\u2019s bedrooms<\/strong>, we aimed to maximise storage and functionality<\/strong>, creating comfortable, versatile spaces with a timeless aesthetic<\/strong> that can adapt as the children grow. Each room includes a sleeping area, study desk, and floor-to-ceiling wardrobes<\/strong>. <\/p>\n\n

Both bedrooms follow the same design structure<\/strong>: a trundle bed with drawers<\/strong>, a headboard that extends to the desk with drawer unit<\/strong>, and a decorative dado paired with wallpaper<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n

In one of the bedrooms, we selected blue tartan-check wallpaper<\/strong>, combined with neutral textiles with blue accents<\/strong>.In the other, we opted for green and neutral striped wallpaper<\/strong>, paired with coordinated textiles<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n

The main bathroom<\/strong> features a bespoke oak and off-white vanity unit<\/strong>, along with an cabinet above the niche for additional storage<\/strong>. We selected ceramic wall finishes and a stone-effect basin<\/strong> which, together with the black taps<\/strong>, add texture and elegance to the space<\/strong>. <\/p>\n\n

The project was developed with a soft colour palette\u2014greens and greyish blues, mustard tones\u2014<\/strong>, combined with natural materials such as oak wood, linen, cotton, and rattan<\/strong>, reinforcing the sense of calm and harmony<\/strong> throughout the home. Each room was designed with its own distinct identity<\/strong>, while always maintaining the overall aesthetic coherence<\/strong>. <\/p>\n\n

The result is a bright, functional, welcoming home<\/strong>, where each space reflects the tastes, habits, and lifestyle of its owners<\/strong>. A contemporary home designed to be enjoyed as a family<\/strong>. <\/p>\n\n
