Apartment Facing the City of Arts and Sciences

This is a single-story residence with a surface area of 150 m², located on the 3rd floor of a residential building. The apartment was in its original condition and the family owners contacted the studio to carry out a comprehensive renovation of their home.

In addition to offering stunning views of Valencia’s City of Arts and Sciences, it is sunny and very bright thanks to its east and south orientation.

The clients asked us to redistribute, furnish, and decorate the residence, creating bright and timeless spaces. We created a warm atmosphere, based on neutral and luminous tones, reflecting a contemporary style.

For the entrance hall we selected an oak wood console and combined it with an industrial-style mirror with black sconces. We also designed a custom wardrobe with ample storage capacity.

For the living room we selected a comfortable sofa, flanked by an armchair, a side table, and a floor lamp. In front of it we placed nesting tables and, as a TV unit, we designed a custom piece.

The neutral color palette with blue accents, together with the introduction of textiles such as rugs and cushions, has created a welcoming and modern atmosphere, bringing warmth to the space.

In the living-dining room we decided to create a frieze using moldings, adding a modern and warm touch and giving personality to these rooms.

We decided to open the kitchen to the living-dining room, making the most of the home’s natural light and, likewise, creating a cross-ventilation system.

We opted for a white kitchen with oak wood accents and selected the island pendant lights in black, following the same aesthetic as the home.

As for the master bedroom, we selected the nightstands and sconces in black. For the headboard wall we decided to create a simple design with moldings and textile wallpaper.

The wardrobes are custom-designed and offer ample storage capacity. As for the color palette, we opted for neutral tones with earth accents.

In the youth bedroom, with access to the terrace, we selected original wallpaper with gold accents. For the nightstands and the end-of-bed bench we opted for oak wood.

The wardrobes were also custom-designed. As for the color palette, we opted for neutral tones with green and curry accents.

In the children’s bedroom we selected beautiful wallpaper with green and white accents. As in the other bedrooms, the wardrobes were also custom-designed by the studio.

As for the color palette, we opted for neutral tones with green and pink accents.

In both bathrooms (one of them en suite with the master bedroom) we designed the vanity units custom, following the same aesthetic, but lacquered in different colors.

On the terrace we placed a pair of armchairs, a small side table, plants, and textiles, to enjoy the beautiful views of the gardens and the City of Sciences.
